ie. that potentially-any-good-but-actually-quite-disappointing programme on BBC2 where contestant types get to take charge of Hannibal's elephants and command the armies.
Well, does anyone remember a couple of games for the Arc that let you do similar? One was called Waterloo, the other Dreadnoughts.
I'd like to have a go with these - anyone reckon they're still available anywhere? |

Still, at least it's better than having some tit running round pretending he's surrounded by dinosaurs
Well, does anyone remember a couple of games for the Arc that let you do similar? Nope
I'd like to have a go with these - anyone reckon they're still available anywhere? Haven't spotted them on any of the various coverdisks and CD's I've got. Were they free or commercial?

Waterloo was certainly available for the BBC - I've got a copy of it somewhere. The graphics were nothing special (even for then) but I think most of the code was focussed on the AI, which wasn't too bad. |

I loved dreadnoughts but I cant seem to see it anywhere online.
I sadly sold alot of my Acorn gear many years ago as i grew up with Gaming on Acorn before I discovered mainstream consoles and Windows PC
I would like a copy of dreadnoughts again if i could get one |

Probably won't be anytime soon as I have a new baby daughter. |
