I thought I'd share this here since I've not found it anywhere else on the internet, and it might be useful for some people who are addicted to Facebook Currently Facebook Messenger is only available in the US.
How to get Facebook Messenger in the UK or any other country that isn't the US:
1. Download this app: https://market.android.com/details?id=ch.racic.android.marketenabler 2. Use the app to set your SIM to TMobile[US] 3. Search for Facebook Messenger on the Market using your phone. 4. Install Facebook Messenger. |

Or just download Trillian and use that instead, since that supports Facebook chat along with various other networks all in one app. |

What's it's battery draining like? |

To be honest, I don't use facebook nearly enough to notice if it supports the combined inbox/chat. I rarely use either |
